Sister Wives star Kody Brown has never been very popular with fans. However, some viewers think he

might actually be more sinister than anyone ever thought possible.

In fundamentalist LDS circles, women are valued based on how many children they have. As a member of the AUB, Kody Brown made it a high priority to have as many children as possible with his four wives. As of Season 19, he has 18 children between four women.

This is precisely how fans think Kody completely used his wives.

“This is actually so dark,” a Sister Wives viewer shared on Reddit. “I am in the midst of my rewatch (just got to season 17) and I was thinking about Christine & [Kody]’s divorce. It’s actually so dark and f**ked up of him to say he was never attracted to her and yet used her b*dy for children all those years. His kneecaps need breaking, man.”

Overall, other Sister Wives viewers agreed that Kody’s behavior during this chapter was inexcusable. To push the envelope further, many Redditors elaborated and thought it was horrific how Kody said harsh words about his ex-wives in front of their children.

When Sister Wives began, Meri and Janelle finished having children. Christine was pregnant with Truely, who she claimed would be her last child. Some viewers believe that’s precisely why he targeted Robyn for his fourth wife — she was much younger than the other wives and might still be open to having children.
