Coronation Street‘s Chesney Brown is set to take revenge against his mysterious enemy after weeks of
torment.
Chesney has been involved in a strange rivalry after his recent visit to the supermarket took a turn. The
father of five had his parking space stolen by an unseen van driver at Freshco.
When Chesney blocked the vehicle in, he returned to find his car had been damaged in retaliation. He was later almost hit by the same van after the driver screeched past him in the car park.
The ordeal continued when Chesney found his car tyres had been slashed, and was convinced the van driver was targeting him. He later found the van parked outside his house, but it sped away as he approached it.
In scenes that will air next Wednesday (December 18), Chesney chooses to take matters into his own hands.
After pulling up to his house, Chesney once again sees the mysterious man in the van waiting across the street. However, as the van drives away, he decides to follow it.
Back in the Freshco car park, Chesney slips behind the van and pulls out a bag of sugar. But what lengths will Chesney go to? Will he regret escalating the petty feud?
Meanwhile, Chesney will be faced with another dilemma as Les Battersby’s death storyline continues.
Leanne and Toyah tell Chesney that the compensation money from Les’ employer has been increased to £60,000 – but they would still need to sign the NDA.
When Gemma returns from Portsmouth, she is angry that Chesney has kept quiet about the situation. She urges him to take the money, as it could really help them out financially.
