A CORONATION Street star has been flooded with support after sharing pictures of a nasty injury she branded ‘agony’.
Fans rushed to leave reassuring comments underneath the actress’ social media post.

Tracie Bennett notably played Sharon Gaskell across multiple stints on the cobbles.
Last month, shewas rushed to hospital and “nearly lost her finger”.
The actress found herself in A&E after her index finger ballooned in size due to a serious and painful infection.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Tracie shared photos to her followers of her hand wound healing up.
She wrote: “Ouch.
“Still healing. New pink (gammon) skin growing underneath the damage.
“Shame it doesn’t do that on my face”, Tracie joked.
One person penned: “Ouch… that looks so painful. I hope you’re feeling better every day.”
Another added: “Thanks for the update, I have been wondering how you were doing! Is it painful?”
To which the star replied: “It’s pure agony. But we work through it!”

The 63-year-old ultimately ended up having an operation on her hand.
Tracie first told fans about her infection while sat in the waiting room.
Writing on X, she said: “Let’s count the hours from now of how long I’ll be in A&E with a seriously infected finger.
“Been on antibiotics since Monday but they haven’t worked. Ouch.
“Haven’t slept properly. Hoping it’s not long. Torture. Place your bets.”
She initially starred in the ITV soap for two years, spanning 1982 to 1984.
Her character’s storylines at this time included pursuing Brian Tilsley (Christopher Quinten) – despite Brian’s marriage to Gail (Helen Worth) – whom he ultimately remained faithful to.
