Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman, who played Craig Harris on the show, has become a dad for the first time. The actor didn’t take long to share his daughter’s
name on Instagram in a joint post with his fiancée, along with a sweet transition video for the name reveal.
Richard Experiences the Joy of Fatherhood
In a joint Instagram post with his fiancée, Celinde Schoenmaker, Richard Fleeshman announced his daughter’s arrival on November 30th, 2024.
“At 8.08 am On 30-11-2024 our world exploded into technicolor as we welcomed our daughter into the world. Coco Beau Fleeshman, we love you beyond words,” read the caption.
There was also a video accompanying the caption. It initially showed two stockings hanging by the fireplace—one of Fleeshman’s and another of Schoenmaker’s. Then, instantly, we see a transition where another tiny stocking is revealed with their daughter’s name on it as they leave the hospital with a baby carrier. We then saw an on-screen text read, “Welcome to the world, Coco Beau Fleeshman.” We can’t stop awwww-ing!

In no time, the post’s comment section was filled with good wishes and congratulations for the new family. We also saw comments from stars like Marisha Wallace, Kara Tointon, and Catherine Tyldesley.
Fans also poured love, gesture, and blessings for the little one and the new family. We wish them all the best for the future and the best of health and spirits.
Fleeshman and Schoenmaker’s Story
Back in 2022, Fleeshman and Schoenmaker got engaged during their trip to South Africa. After the proposal, the actor shared on Instagram, “Went to Africa with my girl. I’ll be heading home with a Fiancée. Couldn’t be happier.” Since then, the couple have been together with their pet cat, Luna.
Earlier this year, Schoenmaker announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post with a video. In the video, we saw her cradling the baby bump and cuddling Luna. There was also a sweet caption accompanying the video, “We’ve not met you yet, but never been more in love. I don’t think Luna realizes she’s not gonna be the cutest in the household for much longer. “@rfleeshman so many new adventures ahead.”
