General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that it’s been a crazy time to be alive in the land of Port Charles.

Recently, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) found out her father, whom she believed was dead, is none other than Robert

Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), which means her current love interest, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is her cousin.

Yikes and yuck, right?

Things in soaps change constantly, so what if she finds out that Robert isn’t her father?

Is there any chance Sasha and Cody could “go back” to what they were? This might be difficult for a number of reasons.

First off,  Sasha may get to know the Scorpio family a lot better, she’ll likely try her best to bond with Robert, who was just as much a victim in Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) lie as she was.

Sasha will also bond with Robert’s brother, Cody’s father, and her new Uncle Mac Scorpio (John J. York) on a different level, although thanks to her romance with Cody, she has got to know him pretty well as it is.

If it turns out she’s not Robert’s daughter after all, it may be hard for the bond they’ve established to break.

After all, even when Sasha deceived Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) into believing she was her long-lost daughter, the two have developed a mother-daughter relationship since.

Sasha could establish real roots within the Scorpio family, which would make it challenging Cody and Sasha to “go back” to what they were.

Fans can point to Cody’s brother-sister bond with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). The two aren’t blood-related, but the thought of romance would ick the both of them out.

Still, depending on how much time goes by before the truth comes out, Sasha may not settle into the Scorpio family on that level.

There’s still another major reason that will make it difficult for Sasha and Cody to reunite.

Sasha hopped pretty quickly into bed with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) after the bio dad news hit.

Considering they are exes, and he’s married, this would definitely rub Cody the wrong way.

It would also hurt him immensely, since, Sasha waited a very long time before becoming intimate with Cody, something they never ended up doing (thank goodness) because she “wasn’t ready”.

How hurt will Cody feel when he realizes just how easy it was for Sasha to do the deed with a very married Michael?

General Hospital spoilers suggest that even though the DNA test results proved Sasha was Robert’s daughter, there’s always a possibility that they were tampered with at the WSB for one reason or another.

If this is the case, and Sasha is not Robert’s, the proverbial poop would hit the fan! GH viewers need to stay tuned closely to this storyline to see what happens next.
