EastEnders is lining up a new love interest for Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) – and it’s quite a surprise!
There were hopes that he would reconcile with ex-partner Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) after the two enjoyed a
moment together, though it wasn’t meant to be.
The Walford hard man hasn’t had much luck on the romance scene in recent years, after his affair with Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was exposed to her husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) last year.
She decided it was best to stay faithful to Jack – but in turn, he cheated on her with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
There’s nothing the residents of Albert Square love more than bed hopping!
In upcoming scenes, Denise and her sister Kim (Tameka Empson) convince youngster Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) to ask Ravi for a job.
Unfortunately for the teen it turns disastrous, as Ravi humiliates him… he’s clearly not forgiven or forgotten when he got his son Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) hooked on steroids.
After hearing what happens, Kim charges over and demands answers from Ravi – who backtracks and hands Denzel a job.
Later, in The Vic, Kim, Linda (Kellie Bright) and Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) are trying to encourage Denise to let loose when they begin to wind her up about her past relationships with Jack and Ravi.
She scoffs at their comments, but it’s clear that she still has feelings for both men.
Jack still cares for her too, and is jealous when he sees her chatting to Ravi.
Priya is similarly infuriated, and tries to make a move on the copper – but it doesn’t go exactly to plan.
As Kim continues to try and play matchmaker between Denise and Ravi, newbie Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) arrives to get acquainted with the locals.
The first man she wants to speak to? Ravi.
She makes a point of introducing herself to him after hearing about the time he dangled her son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) off the viaduct, but could there be a spark between them?
