1. Betsy makes a deal to protect Mason
Despite Mason’s attempts at turning over a new leaf, his thuggish brothers Matty and Logan have been determined to lead him down the wrong path.
Following her own ordeal with Matty and Logan, Betsy makes a deal with the brothers in a bid to get them out of Mason’s life for good. However, when she tells Mason what she’s done, he’s horrified.
2. Carla is attacked
After Carla reveals her true feelings, Lisa makes it clear that she’s not ready to pursue a relationship.
Carla returns to the factory and is shocked to discover the place has been ransacked. As she attempts to phone the police, she receives a blow to the head and falls to the ground.
3. Lisa grows suspicious of Matty
Matty is taken in for questioning following the robbery, but Lisa is disappointed when his alibi is corroborated.
Feeling smug after his interview, Matty makes a dig about Becky’s death. Lisa sees red, convinced that he had something to do with it.
Later, Logan and Matty notice Lisa watching them from her car and send a picture to Alya, who’s representing Matty. Alya heads to the station and accuses Lisa of harassing her client. Lisa pretends that it was a coincidence, but Kit is unconvinced.
4. Roy gives Lisa some advice
After Carla’s attack, Lisa keeps vigil at her hospital bedside, willing her to pull through.
Later in the week, Carla is discharged from hospital but when Roy and Ryan come to take her home, Carla admits that she hoped Lisa would accompany them.
Roy decides to play matchmaker and urges Lisa to talk things through with Carla as it’s clear that they both have feelings for each other.
5. Nick and Toyah plan to break the news to Sam
Nick and Toyah decide it’s time to come clean about their relationship to their family. Nick invites Toyah to join him and Sam for tea, so that Sam will get used to seeing them together before they make it official.
With Sam under the impression that Nick and Toyah’s relationship is in the past, how will he react?
6. Leanne gets closer to the truth
Nick suggests to Toyah that they tell Leanne the truth and then go on holiday – giving Leanne space to process the news. Toyah insists they wait until after Oliver’s memorial and Rowan’s upcoming trial.
Meanwhile, Toyah is touched when Leanne gives her a rose bush and suggests they plant it next to Oliver’s tree in memory of Rose.
However, Leanne has questions when she notices the holiday booking on Nick’s laptop.
7. Leanne and Toyah get bad news
Nick prepares to come clean to Leanne but is interrupted by a police officer, who reveals that Les has died. In shock, Leanne leaves to find Toyah, but Nick calls her to break the news himself.
Leanne and Toyah grieve together, but Leanne is confused when it becomes clear that Toyah already knew.
Toyah confesses that Nick told her, and Nick spins a cover story, but Leanne remains unconvinced. In secret, Leanne accesses the holiday booking and decides to call the hotel.
8. Alya returns
Alya returns to the street, and Yasmeen is proud that she has secured a new job shadowing a criminal solicitor. Alya quickly gets involved with the Underworld break-in, representing Mason’s brother.
Meanwhile, Adam admits that he’s missed Alya and suggests dinner.
Before Alya’s departure, she decided not to pursue a romantic relationship with Adam, but now she’s back, will she change her mind?
9. Shona visits Clayton
Tensions flare between Shona and David when she confesses that she desperately wants to visit Clayton, but David is unsympathetic.
Later, Shona makes it clear to David that she’s going to visit her son, with or without his permission.
Shona arrives at the hospital, determined to finally speak with Clayton.
10. Chesney continues to struggle
When a van driver steals Chesney’s parking space in the Freshco car park, Chesney retaliates by blocking him in.
The move backfires on Chesney when he surveys damage done to his car. He receives a further shock when the same van speeds past him, knocking him off his feet.
As news spreads about Les, Chesney makes out to Bernie that they weren’t that close. However, it’s clear that recent events have begun to take their toll on Chesney.
