Next week on EastEnders, Nicola Mitchell makes a dramatic arrival in Albert Square, while Suki wants to hide the truth from Eve, and Phil
struggles with loneliness.

1. Penny makes a discovery
Jack wants to fight back against Harry and uses his police connections to look into the case of his missing girlfriend, Shireen. When Harry finds out, he forces Penny to get her dad to back off, or he will let him know that she is involved in the blackmail plot.
Penny gets Jack to let her meet up with Shireen’s friend, Felicity. She attempts to warn her off Harry but is shocked by what Felicity says about what happened to Shireen.
2. Bernie returns to Walford
Elaine is happy to see Linda sober and focused on her recovery but is worried when she finds out that Bernie has returned from Germany. Linda explains to Bernie about her previous failed confession to the police. Bernie is furious about Nish taking the blame for Keanu’s murder and says that neither of them will ever be able to move on.
Bernie then leaves to confront Suki, who tries a different tactic to calm her down. Later in the week, she also confronts Kathy, who apologises and asks for forgiveness.
3. Phil feels alone
Teddy makes Phil an offer for Peggy’s, but the price is too low. Phil is annoyed and dismisses the offer, saying that there are other parties interested in buying the club.
Phil is becoming increasingly isolated, and both Sharon and Kat attempt to talk to him. But Phil doesn’t want to open up to either of them and hides his true emotions.
4. Nicola Mitchell arrives
The police arrive to arrest Harry, and Jack and Penny watch the scene unfold. But just as Harry is being taken away in a police car, his and Barney’s mum Nicola arrives in Albert Square.
Teddy wants to know why his ex-wife has turned up, and she explains that she is here to help her son as she received a tip-off about Harry’s arrest.
5. Eve learns the truth
Suki asks her family not to say anything about her and Nish’s blessing, as she wants to be able to tell Eve herself. But it isn’t long before Avani spills the beans, and Eve is left reeling from the revelation.
While Suki tries to explain herself, Eve doesn’t want to hear it, and she heads off to The Vic. Is their relationship in trouble?
6. Penny is under fire
Nicola aims to find out how Penny is involved in Harry’s arrest. Penny faces more pressure as Jack wants to know what she said to the Mitchells.
Harry is also angry with Penny after his arrest, and he decides to share some home truths with Jack. Has her blackmail secret been revealed?
7. Junior makes a confession
Junior is sad to learn that his son Xavier isn’t able to come to George and Elaine’s wedding, so Gina wants to cheer him up. She bets him that if she can get a date to the wedding in the next 24 hours, he has to bring his secret girlfriend as his plus one.
Gina and Anna both manage to get dates to the wedding, so Gina tells Junior he has to bring his mystery woman. She teases him about being a love rat, so he admits that he has been dumped.
8. Teddy fights back
Nicola quickly makes a stir in Walford, so Teddy decides to use a big secret from her recent past to his advantage. She gets under Teddy’s skin and also takes an immediate dislike to Sharon.
Meanwhile, Sharon tries to get Phil to see sense about the club sale, and wonders if he really wants to get rid of it. The sale is impacting Phil’s mood, but he shuts down Sharon’s attempts to talk to him.
9. Nicola has a plan
Nicola meets Honey and ends up inviting herself to a meal she arranged with Teddy and Billy. Over lunch, Nicola tells Honey and Billy about her marriage and Teddy is made to feel uncomfortable.
Nicola manages to find somewhere to stay, then decides to concoct a new scheme. She overhears Teddy arranging to meet Phil to sign over the club, so she corners Phil for a chat. What does she want?
10. George is nervous
As wedding planning continues, Johnny is put in charge of Elaine’s hen do. She encourages George to ask Junior to be his best man, but he is scared that Junior will say no so doesn’t want to ask.
He asks Phil to be his best man instead, but Phil realises what is going on. Phil tells George to be brave and speak to his son, so he finally reaches out to Junior. Will Junior accept?
