PENNY Branning is set for a shock discovery about Harry Mitchell in upcoming
EastEnders scenes – as he turns on her.
The characters – played by Kitty Castledine and Elijah Holloway respectively – have
grown closer since Harry’s arrival in the summer.

Recently, the pair have teamed up in a plot to blackmail Penny’s dad Jack (Scott Maslen).
In scenes yet to air, Jack uses his police connections to delve into the case of Harry’s missing girlfriend Shireen.
Penny warns Harry, although he demands she get Jack to lay off – or he’ll expose her part in their plot against him.
In an attempt to take control, Penny convinces Jack to let her meet Shireen’s friend Felicity and attempts to warn her off.
However, Felicity’s account of what happened to Shireen leaves Penny chilled to the bone.
Later, the police arrive to arrest Harry, as Jack and Penny watch on.
But before he gets in the car, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) – Harry and Barney’s mum arrives.
Nicola’s first order of business is to determine Penny’s role in Harry’s arrest.
As the pressure mounts, Jack demands to know what Penny said to the Mitchells.
Meanwhile, Harry is gunning for Penny following his arrest and shares some home truths with Jack.
