The long-running BBC soap comes to an end this month, with Dorgu landing a guest role in the final ever episode.
The soap star will play a character called Bev Dartnall, but no other details have been shared about her role or storyline.
The broadcaster shocked fans last October when it announced Doctors was being axed after 23 years. At the time, the BBC put the decision down to “funding challenges” and being reliant on the license fee.
Doctors cast and crew filmed the last-ever episode back in March, with the episode set to air on November 14.
Since leaving Corrie in 2010, Dorgu has also landed roles in fellow soaps Waterloo Road and the now-retired Casualty.
She was last on screens in 2023, appearing in Disney+’s reboot of The Full Monty. Dorgu played mum to Destiny (Talitha Wing), the rebellious teenage daughter of original film character Gaz (Robert Carlyle).
Coronation Street fans will remember Dorgu’s character Kelly stirring up trouble in Weatherfield during her six-year stint. She famously had a rivalry with Rovers Return barmaid Becky Granger (Katherine Kelly) and had an on-and-off relationship with Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles).
During one of the couple’s breaks, Kelly seduced and spent a night with Lloyd’s best friend and fellow cabbie Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
The Underworld machinist left the street for pastures new in 2010 after being sacked by a scheming Nick Tilsley who used her to steal confidential information about the factory.
