Coronation Street star Simon Gregson has shared a health update, revealing that he is currently “full of man-flu”.
The star, who plays Steve McDonald on the ITV soap, was due to take part in the London to Brighton veteran car run over
the weekend, which serves as a showcase for iconic vintage cars.
In a post on Instagram, Gregson shared that neither he nor the car had made it to the event, with the actor explaining that he had come down with the dreaded “man-flu”.

“Car didn’t make it, which is fortuitous because neither have I,” said Gregson as he laid in bed. “I am full of man-flu. I thought I could make it, [but] I couldn’t so I’m tucked up in a very nice hotel where I am going to sleep and hopefully be alright.
“Thanks to the British Motorist Museum for lending us the car, hopefully [we] go again next year. Thanks to everyone who waved to all the wonderful people in their wonderful driving machines. What an amazing event.”
