Every year, come fall, Days of Our Lives makes one thing very clear: The show knows how to throw a party! Their annual Day of Days event is a love letter to the fans, celebrating the show’s past and present, while giving us a sneak peek of the future. And there’s a whole lot to celebrate this year for Days of Our Lives‘ future!

There’s the show’s 60th anniversary coming up this season, the news that the show isn’t just going strong on Peacock, it’s also been renewed through it’s 61st season, and a whole lot of excitement on-screen, from revelations to returns! In fact, before we get to the rest of the big day, why not check out the season trailer below? (Note: If you do not see a video, you may have to turn off your ad blocker.)DAYS OF OUR LIVES -- ÒDay of Days 2024Ó -- Pictured: (l-r) Deidre Hall, Susan Hayes, Stephen Nichols at the Peacock Theater on November 2, 2024 -- (Photo by: Todd Williamson/Peacock)

There were photos, autograph signings and meet and greets — not to mention a special concert by The Day Players! Plus, there was even a surprise or two, like when Emily O’Brien walked out on stage — in a blonde wig. And that could only mean one thing: Theresa is back! Except… Well, watch the video below and wait for the very end!

“The cat (and wig) is out of the bag,” O’Brien shared. “Thanks for the warm welcome back to Salem! Now buckle your seatbelts. Oh, and thanks, Paul Telfer (Xander) for the hairbrush.”

Oh, hello, Gwen!

The actors and fans, we’re sure, are still coming down off the high of the day, but a few folks did share some highlights of the big day. Kennedy Garcia (Felicity) gave us our own private behind-the-scenes look at her very first Day of Days event on Instagram. And it was, as she put it, “absolutely amazing! Thank you, Days of Our Lives and Peacock for letting me bring Felicity to life on such an amazing show with the best co-workers! So excited to see all that seasons 60 and 61 bring!”
