General Hospital Comings and Goings confirm that actor Robert Adamson recently stepped in to play Michael Corinthos on the ABC soap.
This change was a temporary one, and Chad Duell will soon return to the character that he has effortlessly essayed for years. But what was the reason for this temporary recast? That too
during such a crucial point in the soap.
Those who tuned into the recent episodes may have seen the scene where Michael and Drew have a confrontation, and the kiss secret spills out. General Hospital Comings and Goings confirm that instead of Chad Duell, Robert Adamson portrayed Michael in those critical scenes.
Well, the big reason behind the switch was Chad Duell’s scheduling conflict. Interestingly, this is not the first time Robert has portrayed Michael’s character. Even back in 2022, Robert had temporarily replaced Chad for several scenes, amounting to a total of eight episodes. Unfortunately, this time we don’t know how long this replacement stint will continue.
We admire Robert Adamson’s ability to blend seamlessly into the GH fabric. It is still a little odd to see a character with a different face and body language. That too, when the whole scene is set around them. Currently, on GH, Michael has finally found out that his wife Willow had secretly been sucking his uncle’s face. Shockingly, Drew does not come across as remorseful at all in the scenes.
It would be interesting to see how Michael reacts to this news. There are many speculations making rounds that suggest that Michael may jump into bed with his former lover- Sasha Gilmore. She too has recently broken up with her lover, Cody, because her boyfriend also happens to be her first cousin. Yes, we know how insane all of it sounds. But hey, we are floating in the soapverse!
