This will be before they excitedly head off to buy holiday clothes together.
However, A jealous Steve (Simon Gregson) will become completely startled to see Cassie (Claire Sweeney) in her new jacket.
He thinks she is looking rather attractive, but will he gather up the courage to compliment her?
But, no romance is smooth sailing on Coronation Street, as Cassie will reveal that she is set to go on a date.
Steve is not a happy man as he leaves disparaging comments about the guy she will meet, and Cassie clocks on.
She will think he sounds jealous, but any thoughts on that will soon be replaced when the date will not go to plan.
He will burst to the rescue and will try and boost her self esteem with a drink in the Rovers.
One thing will lead to another as the spark between the duo reignites, and Ken (William Roache) is completely oblivious.
Back at Number One, he will seem completely unaware that they would have spent the night together.
Adam, (Sam Robertson) will drop round at Ken’s house, but will be completely surprised by his finsings.

He will discover that Ken is forking out for luxury travel amenities, which include first-class flights and airport lounge access.
He will then confide in Steve as he is concerned that Ken might be running up debts in order to fund Cassie’s seemingly lavish lifestyle.
Together, they agree that when the pair return from their Porto getaway, a possible family intervention might be needed.
