Coronation Street is set to tease a romantic reunion between Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby.
Viewers will remember that back in June the in-laws shared a passionate kiss while Leanne was in the clutches of The Institute.
Their affair was exposed after Leanne went through Rowan’s computer and found a file on Nick and Toyah.
The revelation led to a violent clash between the sisters and Leanne’s eventual decision to move out of the flat she shared with Nick and his son Sam.
Nick apologised to Leanne for his affair with Toyah and for how their relationship ended. However, he still harbours feelings for Toyah.
In upcoming scenes, Toyah will call around to keep an eye on Sam while Nick is out. Sam is initially hostile to her but he softens once she apologises.
When Nick arrives home he finds the pair making models and is hugely impressed at how Toyah’s managed to win Sam over.
Nick then declares to Toyah that he still loves her, with her responding by pulling him in for a kiss. Can they really rekindle their relationship?
Later in the week, Leanne suggests Nick hires someone to be front of house at The Bistro as she can’t face doing the job after The Institute fallout.
Nick offers the job of Bistro manage to Toyah, telling her they make a great team and it would get Leanne used to seeing them together.
But how will Leanne react?
