Amid the schedule shake-up, there’s two big moments for characters next week. One involves a soap legend suffering a health scare which leads to fears for her life.

Two other characters are left hiding something it seems, before a confession appears to come to light. Gail Platt will take centre stage next week amid concerns her new love interest Jesse Chadwick is using her.

Pictures show the moment a stressed Gail is left in agony and fearing for her life. After a row with her loved ones over her plans to sell their home, she’s left clutching her arm in pain.

Struggling to breathe, Gail will be rushed to hospital as her new love interest Jesse calls for an ambulance. Holding onto her, Jesse rushes to her aid as her worried children feel guilty over putting pressure on her.

But will Gail be okay amid her looming exit from the show? The character will leave the ITV soap soon so fans will no doubt be fearing she might get killed off after this latest twist on the show.

Her grandson Max Turner also finds himself in bother next week as he and Lauren Bolton spark suspicion. Bobby Crawford believes his pal is ignoring him, and soon Lauren is confronted over the same issue – but with the pair admitting their feelings for each other, is Bobby facing heartbreak?

Elsewhere on the Cobbles next week, Gemma Winter takes some time away amid her grief for late twin brother Paul Foreman. Toyah Battersby prepares to move into her new place, while Joel’s funeral is set to take place.

Dee-Dee Bailey sparks suspicion with detective Kit Green over Joel’s murder, there’s a moment between Daisy Midgeley and Kit and Dev Alahan has an order for Chesney Brown. Nick Tilsley and Leanne Battersby split for good and Sam Blakeman is left upset. An intruder at the flat could also leave Bethany Platt in danger.
