Breaking News Updates Kelly Reilly Says “There’S Another Chapter” To ‘Yellowstone’ And Hints Return

Even though “Yellowstone” is coming to an end, other stories will still be spun off of it. Successful spinoff shows have already been created by

the show, and Kelly Reilly, who plays the lead, thinks more storylines might come if creator Taylor Sheridan gives it her all.

Particularly after the Kevin Costner drama, the next “Yellowstone” season 5 part two was meant to be the final farewell to the Western drama.

Recent rumors, however, suggest that “Yellowstone”—yes, Yellowstone, and not a spinoff—may make it past its fifth season. Reilly of “Yellowstone” appeared to corroborate these suspicions in his most recent interview.

“There’s potentially another chapter,” Reilly told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s being talked about now.”

“Nothing is set in stone,” Reilly continued. “But if Taylor wants to write it, I would want to do it. That’s it. Because he’s the one that’s written every single line I’ve ever said. She came from his imagination. But we’re both in agreement that there’s a shift that has to take place. Because you can’t keep telling the same s tory. This story is ending. Yellowstone as we know it is ending, but if there is more story to tell with some of the characters, it’s going to be a little different.

What Taylor Sheridan Has Said About Developing Spinoffs To ‘Yellowstone’

‘Yellowstone’s’ prequel series ‘1883’ may not have drawn the same wide audience the original show did – despite country star Tim McGraw’s involvement – but it doesn’t mean that the idea to build more worlds based around ‘Yellowstone’ has been abandoned.

In 2023, Sheridan put forward the idea of a Matthew McConaughey-led sequel titled, ‘2024.’

At the time, he said to Hollywood Reporter, “He seems like a natural fit.” Over the years, we had a few discussions and exchanged some ideas. He then began to watch Yellowstone and react to it. I want to do that, he said. And by “that,” he meant plunging into an unadulterated universe that collides with the contemporary one. I then remarked, “Buddy, that’s something we can do.”

Sheridan had anticipated that this concept would be more popular, but it didn’t appear to catch on, and as a result, “2024” underwent some alterations to become “The Madison.” In order for Michelle Pfeiffer, Patrick J. Adams, and Matthew Fox to assume the lead roles, McConaughey was further passed over.
