An episode of EastEnders will be replaced by a Boris Johnson interview in a few weeks’time on BBC One, it has been confirmed.
The slot on Thursday, October 3 at 7.30pm will make way for the half-hour special, where the former Prime Minister will sit down with
broadcaster Laura Kuenssberg.
However, viewers will be able to watch the replaced episode of EastEnders the next day (October 4) at 7.30pm instead.
According to the synopsis, the episode will see Patrick attempt to comfort Yolande, while Tommy comes to Alfie’s rescue.
In other EastEnders news, it was recently confirmed that Bianca Jackson will be returning to Albert Square once again.
Star Patsy Palmer revealed this week that her character will be back as she tries to prove Sonia’s innocence, with Sonia facing charges for Reiss Colwell’s murder of comatose wife Debbie.
“Before she left the Square, Bianca felt that something wasn’t right with Reiss and he was up to something,” she said.
“She was putting two-and-two together after getting little clues about him here and there, and she was right! Now she’s found out that her sister is in jail for the murder of Reiss’ wife, and she’s on a mission to prove Sonia is innocent.”
Patsy added: “I think Bianca is a pretty good judge of character. Even though she can be quite chaotic, but she’s got a high level of intuition about things.
“Bianca is the only person who has been paying attention to all the red flags about Reiss.”
