‘1923’ Season 2(2024) Will Release, Production Updates, Premiere Date, Cast, Trailer You Need To Know!

The Yellowstone prequel is making a change for its second season.

The 1923 tale is officially set to continue over on Paramount+, with season two of Taylor Sheridan’s

frontier show en route as we speak.

The Yellowstone prequel put the early generation of the Dutton family through the wringer in its first season, and they only just made it out alive.

But the finale left us with more questions about what could be next for the Montana ranch and its struggling family – 1923 spoilers follow.

Not only do they have the possession of their land to worry about, but also a murder at the hands of Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar), which is sure to stoke plenty of drama in the upcoming season. So when will 1923‘s second season be available to watch? Here’s everything you need to know.

A release window has not been officially announced for the second season, but given that production started this summer, season two won’t be ready until 2025 at the earliest.

While Paramount+ didn’t waste any time in confirming that the Dutton origin story would be getting a second season, the subsequent Hollywood strikes delayed the show.

It’s also been revealed that 1923 will be moving location for its second outing, marking a big change for the Yellowstone prequel.

The debut season was filmed in the city of Butte, Montana (where the show is set), but it’s been reported that season two will be moving over to ATX Studios in Austin, Texas (via Austin Business Journal).

t’s hard to tell at this stage how long viewers will have to wait for season two, but we at least know it’s on the way, so make sure to check back here for all the latest updates.

Who is in the 1923 season 2 cast?

Not everyone made it out of season one of 1923 alive. During his scuffle with Spencer and Alexandra, Arthur Jr (Alexandra’s former fiancé and the son of the Earl of Sussex) was tossed over the rails into the sea, where he met a watery death.

Brandon Sklenar has deemed Arthur’s death an accident, telling USA Today: “It was kind of a reactionary move, the guy was coming at him with a gun. It happened. [Spencer] didn’t consciously mean to kill him.”

Intentional or not, Arthur is toast. With that in mind, we expect the following to return next season:
