Coronation Street’s Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) has been on a mission to bring down
her evil ex-fiancé Joel Deering (Calum Lill) since discovering his despicable crimes.
However, she may live to regret trying to destroy the sinister solicitor after he issued a chilling threat
towards her during Friday’s episode.
Dee-Dee recently uncovered evidence that revealed Joel had groomed Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) and fathered her child, and has teamed up with her in a bid for justice.
In the latest instalment of the ITV soap, Dee-Dee visited Lauren and her son Frankie in hospital, where she put in a call to a solicitors’ regulatory body to inform them of Joel’s recent arrest for assault.
Lauren warned her not to push things too far, but Dee-Dee insisted she was just getting started.
Back at her office, she’d summoned Joel’s ex Emily to a meeting, where Dee-Dee warned her not to let Joel see their young daughter Meave.
Upon learning what Dee-Dee has been up to, a furious Joel paid her a visit with a confrontation ensuing.
He then warned her that once the police had cleared him – which he remained confident they would – Dee-Dee would ‘live to regret’ her actions.
Putting on a brave front, Dee-Dee stood up to him. But after he left, it became clear she was shaken and panicked by the encounter.
Is she in danger?
