Coronation Street‘s newest schemer Kit Green orders Beth Tinker to leave Weatherfield for good next
week. The corrupt police detective turns ruthless after Beth catches him up to no good.
Beth’s troubles begin when she spots her former partner-in-crime Sid still selling their knock-off t-shirts
in the Weatherfield Precinct.
After her recent struggles since losing her job at Underworld, Beth feels betrayed that Sid has gone behind her back and cut her out of the profits.

Beth’s discoveries continue when she spots Kit arrive on the scene.

Kit hands Beth some hush money, but also warns that he wants her out of town by the end of the week otherwise he’ll ruin the career of her son Craig.
Craig recently made the mistake of confiding in Kit about his own history of corrupt behaviour, referring to the time that he kept his girlfriend Faye Windass out of trouble over her involvement in a deadly hit and run.
Craig believed that he could trust his police colleague, unaware that Kit was manipulating him for his own purposes.
Kit’s dramatic ultimatum comes just as Beth’s long-term partner Kirk Sutherland declares that he can’t live without her.
