Coronation Street star Liam McCheyne has shared an update on his health following a hospitalisation.
The actor revealed on Twitter / X on Sunday (August 18) that he’d spent the previous two days in the
Royal Oldham Hospital for an undisclosed health issue.
Sending thanks to the NHS for his care, Liam tweeted: “Morning shout out to our amazing NHS.
“Especially all those at the Royal Oldham who took superb care of me over the past two days. What a mess we would be in without them.”
The young actor has been involved in one of Cororation Street‘s most important storylines over the past year.

Viewers saw his character Dylan Wilson initially taken under the wing of school bully Mason Radcliffe as they tormented classmate Liam Connor.
The storyline built up to Mason threatening Liam with a knife, which finally convinced Dylan to do the right thing and help bring Mason to justice.
While Dylan was initially shunned by his loved ones for his involvement in the bullying, he has since taken great pains to make amends to Liam.
In recent weeks, Dylan was shocked to find out that Mason had been released from a youth offender home and was now back in Weatherfield.

The pair had a shocking confrontation in Speed Daal after Dylan and his dad Sean learned that Stu Carpenter and Yasmeen Nazir had hired Mason as a potwasher.
Stu took mercy on Mason when he found out that the teenager was being abused by his older brother, but his decision to bring Mason on board at Speed Daal has divided the community.
