Friday August 16, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy updates Taylor on the latest with Brooke

and Hope, Hope begs Finn to stay silent, and Li visits Poppy in jail.

Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Finn confronts Hope furiously, planning to reveal the truth to Steffy, while

Bill and Luna await the results of the latest DNA test.

In Finn’s office, Hope admits she made a reckless mistake, apologizes, and pleads with him not to tell Steffy.

He tells her she can’t just plant a kiss on him at a party, emphasizing that he’s happily married.

CBS

He says he should have listened to his wife and stayed away from her. Hope admits she crossed the line and apologizes, wanting to move on and forget this incident.

Finn explains that he made a vow and can’t keep this from his wife. Hope warns that revealing this to Steffy will lead to a family conflict.

CBS

He reiterates that his wife deserves the truth.

When he asks why she did it, she claims she was caught up in the moment. He responds that the problem is it’s unclear whether she’s attracted to him or if she’s trying to create conflict with his wife.

He can’t be caught in the middle of this. She screwed up. Hope apologizes again as he storms out.

Hope goes to the design office with Finn’s words ringing in her ears over and over. She flashes back to the kiss and nearly breaks into tears.

At the cliff house, Steffy hears someone drive up to the house and honk their horn. She rushes to the door. It’s Taylor.

She throws her arms around Steffy. Her daughter is in shock. Her mom has no idea how much she’s missed her.

She tells Steffy how great Douglas and Thomas are doing. She’s been so happy to see her family.

Taylor asks for an update on the Bedroom line and Taylor admits it has been exceeding expectations.

Steffy is trying to be professional but she doesn’t trust Brooke or Hope.

She knows she’s always venting about Hope and she’s sorry for that. Taylor is just happy to be there with her.

Steffy doesn’t want Hope influencing Finn. She might be turning into her mom and she worries Finn could be drawn to her.

Taylor dismisses that possibility. Her daughter is grateful she’s there.

Steffy is glad she has her back. Her mom promises to have her back no matter what.

They hug and Steffy jokingly threatens to keep her passport so she can never leave.

When Taylor goes off to freshen up, Finn shows up and announces to his wife that they need to talk… about Hope.

At the police station, Poppy is shocked when she’s shown into the visiting room to meet with Li.

She couldn’t resist seeing her sister in jail. She may be a lot of things, but a murderer?

Poppy swears she didn’t kill those men or tamper with the paternity test. She reminds her she can’t even kill a spider.

Taking her hands, she tells her she believes her.

Sobbing, Poppy thanks her. Li assures her that Luna will be okay.

Poppy is glad her daughter has Bill. He will take care of her.

CBS

At Bill’s, he checks the latest DNA test and goes silent. Luna asks if it confirms that he’s her father.

CBS

It says he’s not her dad. Sad, he hugs her.

She can’t believe this. he reminds her that he vowed to always be by her side.

She’s never met someone like him, so committed to her. He says she will always have a special place in his heart.

CBS

“What about my mom?” she asks. He doesn’t know.

The evidence against Poppy is compelling and the original test must have been tampered with. Was this all a plan?

CBS

He’s sorry that Tom is dead. He’s sure he would have adored her if he was given the chance.

Neither of them can wrap their heads around any of this.

CBS

Bill says they need to grieve what they thought was theirs. He saw such a bright future for them as a family.

He assures her she will never be alone. This is their mutual trauma.

CBS

He’ll always be there for whatever she needs. She’ll always remember how kind he’s been.

Uncertainty is all she’s known in her life. Her mom moved her constantly so she had no friends or childhood.

The life he has given them has been so different from the one she grew up with.

She was so proud when she got her internship, She could finally break free from her mom and her crazy, carefree lifestyle.

Although she tried to pretend things were fine, they weren’t. Bill gave her the greatest gift: a stable life.

He may not be her dad, but he’s the most incredible man she’s ever met.

She hugs him for a moment.

Pulling back, she kisses him.

CBS

Bill is in shock. She smiles.

CBS

“I know that was the last thing you were expecting,” Luna tells Bill.

“Taylor Hayes! looking wonderful as always,” Ridge tells her.

“You always know the right thing to say,” she says.

“Tell me! What’s going on with Hope?” Steffy asks Finn.

Steffy storms into the design office as Hope declares she’s sorry.

CBS

“How could you kiss Finn?” Steffy demands.
