Katie has long harbored suspicions about Poppy’s honesty, particularly regarding her interactions with Bill. Unable to tolerate what she sees as deceit, Katie undertakes a covert investigation to gather proof. This leads her to discover something damning that she promptly reports to Lieutenant Baker, who is spearheading the investigation into the deaths of Tom and Hollis.

Katie’s findings are significant and directly related to the ongoing case. With this new lead, Baker is under pressure to resolve the case quickly and deliver justice. What did Katie uncover? The evidence in question appears to be Tom’s backpack, which was found in Poppy’s old apartment. Luna was the first to spot the backpack there, and her uncertainty about Poppy’s innocence has been troubling her. She confided in RJ about her doubts, but RJ’s decision to share this information with Katie has put Poppy in even deeper trouble.

RJ is now grappling with the fallout from his actions. Although he revealed the secret to Katie, he is unsure about whether he should come clean to Luna about his disclosure. He fears that if Luna learns of his actions, their relationship could suffer irreparable damage. Despite his concerns, it seems inevitable that Luna will find out the truth eventually.

Meanwhile, the drama continues at Brooke’s celebration party, hosted by Eric to honor Brooke’s recent achievements. The party, a grand affair with all the Forester Creation staff in attendance, becomes the setting for yet another explosive incident. Hope, who has been drinking at the party, loses her composure and makes a bold move on Finn, who is there with his wife, Steffy. Hope, under the influence, initiates a kiss with Finn, but he reacts swiftly to reject her, maintaining his loyalty to Steffy.

Unfortunately for Hope, Steffy witnesses the whole scene and is enraged by Hope’s audacity. Steffy’s fury is palpable as she confronts Hope, determined to teach her a lesson for daring to come between her and Finn.
