Daughter Mia reveals how she now earns ten times

more than she used to and still hopes

she can rebuild relationships with her family

SOAP star Sammy Winward has cut off her teen daughter Mia — after she started up an OnlyFans account.

The Emmerdale actress, 38, has not spoken to the 19-year-old since a row four months ago.

Mia, who earns up to £30,000 a month selling sexy videos and pictures, said she is hopeful of making up with her mum.

Talking about the fallout, she revealed: “She said some pretty mean things when we did last speak, it was awful.

“But I absolutely love my mum, I love all of my family but none of them speak to me now.”

Mia previously appeared on Loose Women with Sammy in 2021 and said she wanted to follow her mum’s acting footsteps.

But after initially finding work as a make-up artist when she left school, she instead decided to open an OnlyFans account this year after speaking to friends who were using the site.

She said: “I feel so empowered on OnlyFans. I am my own boss and I’m confident in myself and what I’m doing.”

Mia now says she earns ten times what she used to.

She added: “I get around £30,000 a month from my account and work about three days a week. I film my content, upload it and then spend time doing paperwork.”

But her family are not impressed.

Mia’s dad — former Blackburn footballer David Dunn — has also distanced himself from her alongside Sammy, who left Emmerdale in 2015 after playing Katie Sugden for 14 years.

Mia said of their actions: “I think they’re just being protective of me. It’s not been nice and some of the conversations we had before we stopped talking weren’t great.

“But I will always love and appreciate them. I hope that one day we can rebuild our relationship and move on.”

Mia insists her current career is not her long-term plan — saying she expects to do it for a couple of years to give her “the freedom not to work rather than being stuck in a nine to five”.

She added: “I won’t be doing OnlyFans forever. It is a great stepping stone into the property business.”

Sammy last appeared on TV in September in ITV’s The Long Shadow.

She received praise from critics for her portrayal of Sonia Sutcliffe, the wife of Yorkshire Ripper Peter.
