Just as Tyrone, (Alan Halsall) and Fiz Dobbs, (Jennie McAlpine), have finally settled down to live their

blissful married life on the Cobbles, after years of ups and downs, a spanner has been thrown in the

works once again, and this one might be their biggest yet.

Coronation Street fans were sent into a frenzy with the return of Alina Pop, with a baby on her screensaver who is likely to be Tyrone’s. However, she quickly claimed it was her nephew. When Alina left the street in 2021, viewers were pretty sure she was still pregnant, after rubbing her stomach and declining wine in the airport lounge before leaving for Romania, despite telling Tyrone she had made a mistake.

Alan Halsall spills all on the shock revelation, and reveals he was ‘warned by fans’ over the storyline back in 2021, when Alina made her dramatic exit.

“Well I definitely know Coronation Street so I knew that this was definitely going to happen,” Alan chuckles as he speaks to OK! and other media on the return of Alina. “And also, all the fans knew as well. I think everyone’s known apart from Tyrone god bless him,” he laughs. ”He’s the last person to know anything about his own life anyway so it worked out quite well,” he says on Alina’s ‘clever’ cliffhanger departure almost three years ago.

Alan explains how he would have a flurry of fans telling him Alina would be coming back with a baby as soon as she left in 2021. “People did cotton on to it very fast.”

A well renowned people pleaser, Tyrone is always trying to do what’s best for others, however, he always seems to find himself muddled up in chaos somehow. “If he is the dad, he doesn’t want him to have the same upbringing that Tyrone had,” Alan states. But also, he’s very aware that Fiz and the girls will have feelings. Generally, we see Tyrone trying to make people happy and he’s not very good at that,” he explains

Viewers will have to stay tuned to see what chaos the storyline, and his Ty’s potential son will bring to Tyrone and Fiz’s ‘happily married life’.
