Jada finds a pill bottle and asks about the dosage. Bobby murmurs that he didn’t take the pills. Struggling, Bobby opens his heavy eyelids as Stephanie pleads with him. Everett, sitting at the DEA office desk, smiles. Connie eliminated Bobby from her life and can now focus on making Stefan and Gabby pay. She’s eager for BB’s revelation that Stefan slept with AA. When Ava enters, Connie leaps up to make friends, but Ava looks at her with contempt. Connie leaves upon learning Gabby and Stefan are out for the day.
At the Bistro, Gabby learns over the phone that Rafe hasn’t changed. Apologizing to Stefan for not focusing on their anniversary, Gabby explains she needs to focus on her unconscious brother and manage the department while searching for Abigail. As they toast to Rafe’s recovery, they discuss Stefan’s restaurant business, started to run drugs for Clyde. Gabby questions Stefan about his relationship with Ava, and Stefan reluctantly admits it was AA’s idea, and they kissed to keep their cover. Gabby asks if it was just one kiss, and trembling, Stefan says no.

After obtaining AA’s signature on documents, Connie departs, and Gabby promises Stefan to forget about the kisses. At the Salem Inn, attendants bag Everett’s body. Jada collects the bloody gloves as evidence. Bobby’s letter apologizes for harming everyone, especially Everett, hoping they can now rest easy. Jada finds Everett’s phone, discovering he attempted to call for help but didn’t press send. Stephanie believes Everett tried to get help but was too weak. Jada and Stephanie hold hands tightly, reflecting on the tragedy.
