SHOCKING NEWS!!! Lord Sugar has a new EastEnders theory – and it’s very grim

The Apprentice star Lord Sugar is known for his love of EastEnders, with his niece Rita Simons even

appearing in the soap as the beloved Roxy Mitchell.

And now the business tycoon has shared his thoughts on the storyline currently dominating the show, predicting a Walford favourite is about to be wrongly sent down.

Earlier this week, fans saw Reiss Coldwell (Jonny Freeman) turn killer in shock scenes, smothering his wife Debbie to death in her care home bed, as he sought to solve his mounting debts.

However, a series of clues has suggested it is his partner Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) who will be blamed for killing her – something Lord Sugar has also picked up on.

After watching Thursday (25 July) night’s episode, the Apprentice boss posted on X: ‘I think Sonia is going to be blamed for Debbie’ death . She was in the room just before Reese. She might end up in Jail [sic].’

He also shared his surprise at the twist in Reiss’ story, previously writing: ‘I am shocked that Debbie didn’t wake up and give Riesse a dilemma.  Instead he killed her . What for the insurance ? , bad enough that he has fraudulently embezzled Sharon. He is bang in trouble.’

Many fans have already shared this theory on social media, after a series of unfortunate events suggested Sonia – who recently discovered she was pregnant – faces being framed.

Firstly, detectives Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Callum Highway (Tony Clay) overheard her telling ex-husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) it would be better if Debbie ‘slipped away’.

She then visited Debbie in her care home, where she was seen touching her neck and repositioning the pillow that Reiss eventually used to kill her.

As Sonia left the home, she was also berated by a carer for having not signed in when she arrived, with the carer questioning how she’d managed to get in.

Next week’s episodes will see Debbie’s parents Brenda and Hugh Collins – played by Michael Bertenshaw and Nichola McAuliffe – arrive in Walford, as a guilty Reiss faces some tough questions from them.

First though, he will need to overcome the hurdle that Debbie’s parents have no idea about partner Sonia’s existence, or that she is his new girlfriend.

Will Debbie’s parents be able to get to the truth about their daughter’s death, before Sonia is wrongly sent down?
