Coronation Street‘s Abi Webster finds herself under suspicion in an arson mystery next week.
Abi faces questioning from DS Swain after an unknown individual targets Stefan Brent.
A few weeks ago, Abi discovered that Stefan was responsible for arranging the release of pornographic
deepfake videos that used her image.
Stefan was taking revenge against Abi after she’d publicly opposed his shameless efforts to rebuild the reputation of his jailed son Corey. Abi’s son Seb was killed by Corey in 2021.

Next week, Stefan calls Abi’s husband Kevin and suggests that they should meet up to end their feud.
Kevin agrees and heads out, but there’s more to Stefan’s request than meets the eye. While Kevin is out, Stefan calls at the Webster house and introduces himself to Jack.
Jack is unaware of who Stefan is, and he agrees to let him wait inside while Kevin and Abi are out. What is Stefan up to?

Later, once everyone is back home, Abi finds Kevin watching an online news report about a mysterious fire at Stefan’s office building.
Abi says that Stefan had it coming, but this could raise alarm bells for Kevin as he wonders whether his wife may have been responsible.
Later in the week, DS Swain turns up at the garage and orders both Abi and Kevin down to the station for questioning.

Swain produces doorbell evidence of Abi at Stefan’s house, which seems to be proof of her ongoing grudge against him.
Abi is upset when she realises that Kevin also thinks she’s the culprit, but is there another explanation? All we can reveal for now is that, by the end of the week, DS Swain interviews and charges the real culprit behind the arson attack.
