SHOCKING NEWS!!! EastEnders airs emotional scenes for Billy in early iPlayer release

EastEnders has aired some emotional scenes as Billy Mitchell found out the truth about his mum in the

show’s latest episode.

This week, Stevie revealed that Billy’s mum Val had died when he was only nine, and he said that her

death was his fault.

In the latest episode, Billy demanded an explanation, and Teddy said that he didn’t know what Stevie was talking about either.

Billy asked Stevie if he had killed his mum, but he explained that Val caught him with another woman, and shortly after she took her own life.

Stevie later explained to a devastated Billy that he and Charlie were at school when they held a small funeral for Val, and that they didn’t speak about it as suicide was a big taboo during this time.

Billy then put the pieces together and asked if Teddy’s mum was the woman Stevie cheated on Val with, realising that she must have been more than a one-night stand, as he previously claimed.

He then returned and punched Teddy, confronting him about his mum, and Teddy admitted he knew his parents were together before he was born, but didn’t know about Val’s suicide.

Stevie said that he couldn’t cope with how much young Billy resembled his mum and clarified that it was his sister who called social services, which led Billy to be put in care.

When Billy confronted Phil, he encouraged him to cut ties with Stevie, calling him the “runt of the litter” who was desperate to be liked by his dad.

As Teddy suggested that Stevie leave Walford, Billy left a voicemail for Honey explaining the whole situation, and he broke down in tears.

Teddy called to see Billy, and he said that he admired him for what he’s been through, giving him a hug and urging him not to let Phil tell him what to do.

Billy told Will that things had come out about his grandad, but Will misunderstood and accidentally revealed to Billy that Phil framed Stevie for the stolen money.

Angry, Billy went to see Phil and called him a liar, claiming that Peggy would be disappointed in how he has tried to tear up the family.

“I’m finally seeing people for who they really are,” he said. “Cos I ain’t the runt of the litter anymore. You are.”
