EastEnders star Clair Norris was feeling nostalgic as she shared throwback snaps of her time in Croatia.
The actress, best known for her role as Bernadette Taylor since 2017, has been in a relationship with
Lewis Wood for the last seven years, and her latest Instagram post suggests she’s eyeing up another
romantic getaway.
In one picture Clair posed as she enjoyed cocktails by the sea, while another showed her taking in the breathtaking views.
‘This time last year, in Croatia,’ she penned. ‘Special & stunning place.’
The post was met with admiration from co-stars and fans with EastEnders actor Thomas Law (Peter Beale) writing: ‘Lovely photos! 👏 looks class out there!’
@karenreed4667 added: ‘You’re always away , enjoy ,you look lovely , very happy living life.’
This comes after the actress shared a screenshot of her wishing for a role on the hit soap in 2014.
Sharing the moment on Instagram, Clair wrote: ‘Who’d have thought that 3 years later I’d be cast as Bernadette Taylor.’
She added: ‘Still saying the same thing 10 years on. Everyone has been incredible last couple of weeks.’
In February this year her on-screen mum Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) returned demanding answers, though later jetted back off to Spain.
Viewers of the BBC soap have previously watched with concern as Bernie has struggled to afford to pay energy bills and buy food since her family have left – which was quite the contrast from Clair who recently purchased her own plush pad with boyfriend Lewis Wood.
In posts on both her X/Twitter and Instagram accounts, Clair told her combined 145,000 followers: ‘And we’re in!!! Time to make this house a home.’
She also shared pictures of a pair of cute customised keyrings baring the couples names, their house number and date they moved in.
