UNEXPECTED TURN! The Young And The Restless Spoilers
Michael and Cole Give Victor a Stroke and Then Flee – Without Calling 911
In the latest twist on The Young and the Restless, the tension in Genoa City hits a boiling point.
Victor Newman’s relentless interference in the lives of Michael and Cole drives them to the brink. For Michael, the cost is his career—Victor’s influence gets him unceremoniously fired, plunging him into uncertainty. Meanwhile, Cole is driven by love, as his relationship with Victoria becomes a beacon of hope for a future he desperately wants to build. However, Victor’s unwelcome meddling threatens to destroy it all.
The two men, bound by frustration and anger, find common ground. Michael, usually more level-headed, manages to adjust to his new reality, accepting the changed path of his life. But Cole is fiercely determined to marry Victoria and start a family, something he believes Victor has no right to obstruct. Their latest meeting is charged with righteous indignation and simmering rage.
Gathering in Michael’s modest new apartment, a stark contrast to their usual opulent surroundings, they discuss Victor over glasses of whiskey. The conversation quickly turns to their shared enemy and the need to put an end to his manipulations.
“Victor needs to understand that he can’t control everything and everyone,” Cole says with conviction. “He’s ruining lives, Michael. He’s ruining my life.”
Michael nods, his eyes reflecting their shared pain. “I know, Cole. But there are ways to handle this without sinking to his level.”
Cole slams his fist on the table. “Victor has to pay for what he’s done. He needs to be stopped once and for all.”
Michael frowns, sensing the dangerous edge in Cole’s tone. “What are you suggesting?”
“He has to die, Michael. It’s the only way. He’s a cancer, and we need to cut him out before he destroys more lives.”
Michael recoils at the idea. Despite everything, he can’t fathom committing murder. “Cole, that’s insane. Victor’s done terrible things, but killing him isn’t the answer.”
“It’s the only answer,” Cole insists, his eyes burning with fierce resolve.
Their argument is cut short by an unexpected opportunity: Victor is at his office alone. Without another word, they leave Michael’s apartment, set on forcing Victor to face the consequences of his actions.
At Newman Enterprises, the atmosphere is thick with anticipation. They storm into Victor’s office, finding him alone and caught off guard. The look of surprise on Victor’s face quickly turns to smug defiance.
“What are you two doing here?” Victor demands, his voice dripping with disdain.
“We’re here to make you understand the damage you’ve caused,” Cole spits, stepping closer to Victor’s desk.
Michael stays back, his mind racing with doubts. He doesn’t want things to escalate, but Cole is beyond reasoning. The confrontation quickly heats up, with accusations and threats flying across the room. Victor, ever the master manipulator, responds with his usual arrogance, belittling their grievances and dismissing their threats.
The confrontation reaches its peak when Victor suddenly clutches his chest, his face contorted in pain. He collapses to the floor, gasping for breath. Michael’s instincts kick in, and he moves to call 911, but Cole grabs his arm, stopping him.
“Let him die, Michael. This is our chance. No one will ever know,” Cole urges, his voice cold and unfeeling.
Michael hesitates, the gravity of the situation weighing heavily on him. He looks at Victor writhing in agony and then at Cole, whose eyes are filled with terrifying determination. Torn between his respect for human life and his anger toward Victor, Michael finds himself at a crossroads.
But the decision is made for him. Cole drags Michael away from Victor, out of the office, and into the hallway. “We walk away. We’re innocent. No one will suspect a thing.”
Michael’s mind is a whirlwind of conflicting emotions as they leave the building. The reality of what they’ve done, or failed to do, settles in—they have left a man to die. No matter how justified their anger, it feels wrong.
Hours pass like years as Michael wrestles with his conscience. He can’t shake the image of Victor lying helpless on the floor. Eventually, his guilt becomes too much to bear. Without telling Cole, he returns to Newman Enterprises.
When Michael arrives, he finds Victor’s office dark and empty. Panic surges through him. Has Victor died? Is he too late? He searches frantically and then sees paramedics wheeling Victor out on a stretcher. A cleaning staff member had found Victor and called for help.
Michael’s relief is palpable, but so is his dread. Victor is alive, but barely. The paramedics inform Michael that Victor has suffered a severe heart attack and is in critical condition.
