Sister Wives star Meri Brown is usually very forthcoming with her fans, but not this time, as she
abruptly stopped filming ahead of the new Season 19 of the TLC series and hasn’t offered a clue why.
This isn’t like Meri, so fans wonder what happened.
Sister Wives: Lights, Camera, Action, But No Meri Brown
In a recent interview, Meri Brown agrees that the Sister Wives show opened the door to many opportunities. Most of those opportunities come with a paycheck.
Several of the family members also found lucrative gigs along with Meri. All the spouses, except Robyn Brown, seemed to find money-making gigs outside the TLC series.
The series opened doors to the many products they promote and the Cameo videos they film for fans. Meri’s fame also likely helps fuel the popularity of her B&B.
But there’s yet another venture that grabbed a lot of her followers’ attention, her Fridays with Fans show.
And with the fan base growing around her online show, it was surprising to the Sister Wives fans that it just seemed to disappear.
Meri Brown called Robyn Brown her best friend until a few seasons back. Then that suddenly stopped, and Meri now calls Jenn Sullivan her best buddy. And, the two co-host the Fridays with Friend online show.
Jenn is a fan favorite. Meri’s followers think she is a breath of fresh air. So, when she appeared on Sister Wives, the show’s fans agreed that Jenn is a keeper. And the viewers hope to see more of her on the TLC series.
But, until the new season of Sister Wives rolls out, fans thought Meri’s Friday with Friends was a great way for them to keep inside the loop.
This venue can be informative. Despite Meri offering the disclaimer that they don’t talk about Sister Wives stuff on her Friday show, they do.
Meri Brown introduced the guy she was dating on her Friday night show. Because of this, fans surmised she was serious with the guy to go public with him. But that was short-lived, and Meri is on the dating circuit again.
TLC usually doesn’t announce the official debut date of a new season until it is just weeks away.
But, one of the Sister Wives family members usually spills the beans long before the network announces it.
So, Mykelti Brown Padron, the daughter of Kody Brown, and Christine Brown, did just that.
She said you can expect the new season to roll out in August or September.
But Kody’s nephew, Ben Brown, also offered a blurb on the start date. He is someone you’ve never seen on the show.
But he announced to his followers, that Sister Wives Season 19 debuts in August.
So, with the new season drawing near, Meri hasn’t aired a segment of Friday with Friends since early May, and she hasn’t offered a word about it disappearing.
While rumors swirl with fans surmising reasons for her to stop filming this, the one thing fans worry about is her friendship with Jenn.
Fans would hate to hear a falling out between these two caused the camera to grow cold.
But the TLC camera will soon roll out and put Meri Brown, with the rest of the now-dismantled Sister Wives family, on the screen. So, maybe Friday with Friends will find its way back then.
