Thanks to new technology, the circulating image has imagined just exactly what the star of the 1700s would look like.
However, rather quickly, social media users were left perplexed as the image bore a striking resemblance to one soap fan favourite.
Fans could not help but comment that Mozart’s obvious lookalike was a dead ringer for Martin Platt.
The character, played by actor Sean Wilson, appears the twin of the unveiled Mozart image.

Whilst it is unclear where the photo originated, fans have quickly jumped in to have their say with one hilariously asking: “Mozart was reincarnated as Martin Platt???”
Other comments were quick to roll in with one stunned fan declaring: “It’s Martin Platt. Gail’s fella.”
A third quipped: “It’s him off Coronation Street.”
Before a fourth penned: “That’s Martin Platt from Corrie.”

Someone else re-shared the image with a fake quote from Martin which read: “Gail, my new Requiem composition’s gonna be flamin’ brilliant!”
One of the first people to re-share the image was initially left baffled by the Martin Platt comment onslaught as they confessed: “I don’t watch Coronation Street so I had no idea who he was, but the resemblance is indeed uncanny.”
Sean played the role of Martin for 20 years between 1985 and 2005.
He then returned for a brief stint in 2018.
Over the years, he found himself locked in a variety of heavy storylines including his explosive feud with Gail’s former mother-in-law Ivy Tilsley as well as his romance with 16-year-old Katy Harris.
He was also instrumental in rescuing former wife Gail from her serial killer husband.
