Things quickly become tense between Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and estranged
cousin Teddy (Roland Manookian) in EastEnders this week.
It was only a matter of time before the two came head to head!
The altercation is sparked when Teddy demands answers about who put his dad Stevie (Alan Ford) in
hospital.
Viewers of the BBC One soap saw Billy’s (Perry Fenwick) son Will (Freddie Phillips) lash out at his grandfather after he accused him of stealing money from Lola’s charity fund.
Last week, it was revealed Will was being bribed by a school bully who had catfished him into sending nude photos. Will had believed the pictures were for a girl he’d been chatting to online.
To make matters worse, the blackmailer wanted £300 and Will resorted to trying to take the cash from mum Honey’s (Emma Barton) purse.
Teaming up with his new mate Mo Harris (Laila Morse), Stevie set about viewing to make things right by flogging toasters on the market. Honey, unaware of their intentions, shut the stall down and made them sacrifice their earnings.
Wanting the youngster to come clean, he headed over to No. 18 and lost his temper. In retaliation, Will became scared and shoved his Grandad across the room, causing him to knock his head off the table and lie unconscious on the floor.
Later, as Phil found him and he was rushed to hospital, Stevie’s secret family were tipped off that he had been admitted…
In today’s (26th June) episode, which has already been released on BBC iPlayer and will drop on BBC One tomorrow night, the bombshell that Billy has a half-brother and two nephews was announced in the pub.
And, in new pictures, we can see Teddy coming face to face with Phil in an explosive row as the family, including newbies Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman), watch on.
Will Phil have fresh competition in his role as head of the ‘faaaamily’?
