Tuesday, June 25, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Douglas confirms to Hope that Paris and

Thomas are genuinely together, Ridge confesses to Steffy his doubts about Hope’s judgment, and Paris

shares the story of her and Thomas falling in love.

Monday’s Early B&B recap: After Hope inquires whether Thomas is open to giving their relationship another try, he shocks her by revealing that he is engaged to Paris.

“You and Paris are what?” Hope asks, shocked, in the Forrester Creations office.

Standing in the doorway with Paris and his son, Thomas confirms their engagement. “We’re getting married,” he announces.

Hope demands an explanation. They explain that it all began when they started spending time together, all three of them.

Douglas tells his mom that she doesn’t have to worry.

What his dad and Paris have is for real.

He’s missed her and gives her a hug before exiting with Paris.

Hope shakes her head. “Wow,” she says.

He didn’t want to reveal this over the phone.

She doesn’t know how she misread his return so badly.

She really thought he came back to restart their life.

She’s not happy that Douglas is calling him “mom” and reminds him that he was engaged to Paris’ sister not so long ago.

She doesn’t think that leaping into marriage like this is how things work.

Thomas tells her that being rejected repeatedly is what doesn’t work.

He had to give his dreams away for her.

She blurts out any woman would be lucky to have him… she just wasn’t ready.

He says part of him will always love her but he had to move on. She gave him no choice.

She knows she let him down but that didn’t mean he had to leave.

She needed time and now he’s engaged.

Did he just forget all they shared?

He says he hasn’t forgotten anything and is grateful for what they had.

She doesn’t see how he can move on like they were nothing.

He claims that he and Paris have something special too.

She wants him to be happy but… He was her North Star when her life was unstable.

He’s still a one woman man but that woman is not her anymore.

“Paris…are you sure you love her?” she asks.

He’ll only say that he asked her to marry him.

She’s sure he knows that what he has with Paris is nothing close to what they share.

The sparks and connection they had in Rome was not just passion, it was real and beautiful, deep and true.

No man has moved her the way that he does.

She’s sure he still feels that and there is so much potential for them.

Everyone tried to break them apart but they couldn’t break what they share.

There’s a future ahead for them if he will choose that path. They can still have it all.

Inching closer to him, she says he doesn’t have to marry Paris.

“Please, don’t go through with this,” she begs.

In the design office, Steffy won’t fight her father about Hope’s line… this time. It was innovative once.

They can give it another quarter to prove itself.

CBS

But as great as RJ and Zende may be, the line hasn’t been the same since Thomas left.

Ridge admits that she’s right but he thinks the line could be great again.

He also admits that Hope’s judgment has been iffy lately.

Steffy thinks that Hope is off-the-rails. She hasn’t been able to pull herself together since Thomas left.

He points out that she and Hope have been at each other over lots of things.

She says Hope is blaming her for driving Thomas away.

She talks to her brother all the time and he knows she’s right.

He says Douglas and Thomas are where they need to be and Paris has been really good to them.

CBS

“You can say that again,” says Steffy.

Douglas runs in and hugs a startled Ridge.

He hugs his aunt and says he’s there to visit. He’s missed them.

CBS

They are surprised. Douglas explains he’s there with his fiancée.

Ridge is baffled. Paris walks in and announces she’s the fiancée.

The engagement is news to Steffy too, though she knew they were dating.

Ridge is glad someone is finally telling him something.

Douglas says his father is happy and Paris really loves him.

When the kid goes off to see Charlie, Paris is sure they have questions.

CBS

She explains that she and Thomas reconnected shortly after he and his son moved to Paris.

They kept it quiet and bonded over how much they want to make the world a better place by doing non-profit work and designing.

She sensed that Thomas was going through another dark chapter and wanted to make him happy.

They developed a profound connection and really love each other.

Paris explains that Thomas is telling Hope the news now.

They admire the huge ring and Steffy asks how shocked Hope must be.

Paris admits she may have been insecure in the past, but she is certain that he is over Hope. Steffy smirks.
