EMMERDALE star Bradley Riches has temporarily quit social media – ahead of his huge upcoming wedding.

The actor – who plays Lewis Barton in the ITV soap – is set to marry partner Scott Johnson in a star-studded ceremony in just four day’s time.

And with all the preparation to come, Bradley has revealed he is stepping back from his social media use to focus on the big day.

He wrote: “4 DAYS 😭💍 going off socials for a bit while we disappear into our wedding bubble… brb getting MARRIED!!!

“And 22 degrees?? sorry but that’s definitely my nanny pulling strings up there ☀️🥹

“Pics pending… lots of them!! Xx see ya on the other side.”

However while Bradley is understandably excited, his big day has been touched by tragedy after the sad loss of his beloved grandmother just days ago.

The actor, who shot to fame on Netflix‘s Heartstopper, announced the sad news in an emotional TikTok post earlier this week.

Posting a montage of pics and clips of him with his grandma, the grieving star wrote: “Never thought in a million years that I’d be saying goodbye to my beloved nan the same week as my wedding.”

Bradley’s fans rushed to send messages of support, with one writing: “So so sorry Bradley. sending you loads of love & hugs.

Another added: “I am so sorry to hear this, much love.”

This fan said: “Your nan will be watching over you.”

Bradley is set to marry Scott this week, after they got engaged two years ago.

The couple’s wedding guest list includes many famous faces.

The actor is set to reunite with his Celebrity Big Brother co-star Sharon Osbourne, who has been invited to the star-studded bash.

Speaking of what other stars may attend, Bradley told the Daily Mail: “So obviously we’ve got my new friends from Emmerdale, a couple of them are coming.

“Heartstopper, some of them. The Big Brother lot, I think all of the Big Brother lot are actually coming.”
