Emmerdale Soap Scoop! Rhona tempted by Graham

Emmerdale has confirmed a huge breakthrough for Moira Dingle amid her prison storyline – but there is a catch. Viewers will know that the character is currently behind bars after being set up to take the blame for Celia Daniels’ human trafficking operation.
While fans know she is innocent, Moira has been charged with the murders of Celia and Anya Berisha – though events look set to take a (partly) positive turn for Moira in new scenes next week.

Husband Cain – who is fighting a battle with cancer – is shocked when she reveals that her murder charges are likely to be struck out.

However, Moira isn’t completely out of the woods as she still faces complicity in modern slavery thanks to Celia’s meddling before her death – but while she had nothing to do with the evil operation, will she be able to prove her innocence?
“Moira seems to have finally caught a break, with the authorities realising that she’s not a double murderer,” our Emmerdale insider said. “The charges always seemed farcical, as the evidence against her was so flimsy.
“Sadly, Celia went to great effort to frame Moira for complicity in the human trafficking operation before she died, so the other charges may be trickier to shake off. Is she still facing an uphill struggle?”

Elsewhere, Moira actor Natalie J Robb recently teased that her character may be biding her time in taking revenge on Joe Tate, who framed her.

“I mean, there is a queue [of people who want revenge on Joe] but you never know, the queue’s getting larger and larger, so that might make for a story later on in time, but we’ll see,” she told The Mirror. “It’s exciting. I’m enjoying the change of things, to be honest, I am. It is different.”
