Judgement day comes for Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) next week in EastEnders quite literally, as she receives the verdict for killing her birth father Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey).
With both the Slater and Trueman families anxiously awaiting the outcome, Jasmine is finally reunited with her twin, Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan), but will it be the last time they’ll see each other for a long time?
After the traumatic events surrounding the birth of their baby, Ivy, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) and George Knight (Colin Salmon) are still fraught with worry, but will a shock admission from George bring them closer together? Or blow them further apart?
News of Joel Marshall (Max Murray) rocks the only recently reunited Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig). Can they come to an agreement on how their future should look? Or will Zack Hudson’s (James Farrar) influence pull her further towards him?
Elsewhere, Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) turns to cousin Oscar (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) for help, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) continue to feud and creepy Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) sets her sights on a new victim.
Intrigued? I knew it. Let’s dive in!
Monday, April 6

Ritchie Scott (Sian Webber) urges Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) to give Jasmine a character reference in court, fearing Patrick Trueman’s (Rudolph Walker) could jeopardise the case. Though she initially refuses, she’s given food for thought when Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) pleads with her to reconsider, reasoning Josh could leave Walford should Jasmine be found guilty. Torn between his twin and his new-found grandad, Josh visits Jasmine, determined to discover the truth.
Meanwhile, Nicola struggles with not being able to see her baby, Ivy, and takes it out on George.
Zack objects when he learns that Ross and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) are planning to turn Martin Fowler’s (James Bye) shed into a man cave, but a conversation with Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) changes his mind, and he sets out to convince Jean Slater (Gillian Wright), who’s still in possession of the key.
Tuesday, April 7

The Trueman and Slater clans remain at odds as Jasmine’s trial begins. Sandra Goodwin (Dawn Steele) reveals to the Truemans that she and Josh still plan to move to Southend, but that Zoe and Jasmine remain unaware. Kat seeks answers from Sandra about Jasmine and, after Patrick’s statement, finally takes the stand.
As they begin converting the shed into a man cave, Ross opens up about his paranoia over Vicky, particularly after she admitted to sleeping with somebody else. Zack gives Vicki a heads up, but they’re all floored when Ross arrives with big news about Joel’s sentencing.
Elsewhere, the sight of Nicola holding Ivy prompts George to proclaim his love for her, and he’s wounded when she doesn’t say it back, prompting Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) to intervene, and Penny asks Oscar for help with her paternity predicament.
Wednesday, April 8

Ross and Vicki discuss what could still to come with Joel and, despite her uncertainty and trauma, she pledges to to stick with Ross and deal with things as a couple.
It’s time for Jasmine to face the music: deliver a statement of her own or plead guilty for a significantly shorter sentence.
Also, Nicola and George struggle to leave Ivy alone in the hospital, before Penny approaches Nicola with some information.
Thursday, April 9

Elaine’s campaign proves a success, while Ian’s flops, though he manages to win a date with Bea, while Nicola finally softens towards George.
Jasmine finally faces the verdict in her case, leaving both Slater and Trueman families reeling.
