EMMERDALE star Amy Walsh has given birth to her second child with her EastEnders actor husband Toby-Alexander Smith.

The actress, 38, took to Instagram to announce the joyous news as well as to post the first snap of her little bundle of joy.

Amy shared a sweet black and white photo of her newborn daughter’s feet, while dressed in a cute baby grow with flowers on it.

She captioned it: “This time last week I was heading into established labour.

“We’ve been in the most magical bubble ever since.”

Her pop star sister Kimberley Walsh was quick to send a message of congratulations in the comments section as fans gushed over the baby.

The real-life soap couple are already parents to their daughter Bonnie, who they welcomed into the world in 2022.

The pair got engaged in Ibiza during a romantic getaway in August 2023 before tying the knot in a star-studded ceremony in front of family and friends in Montenegro the following month.

She previously told OK!: “It was honestly the most perfect day. It surpassed all my expectations and more.

“I felt so surprisingly present on the day and loved every second. Now I’m just in pure bliss.

“Our family and friends are really important to us and we wanted everyone to have the best time.

“They all made such an effort to come out there for us.

“Friends left their kids for the first time and spent their money getting there. We wanted it to be really special.”

Amy and Toby, 34, first met in 2019 while in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing and quickly moved in together ahead of the coronavirus pandemic.

The husband and wife announced they were expecting their second child in September last year, with a sweet post on Instagram.

They penned in a joint post to fans: “Smith/Walsh baby 2.0 incoming 2026”

Their followers rushed to congratulate them and EastEnders star Clair Norris penned: “Sweetest video! Congratulations to you all!”

Emmerdale actress Michelle Hardwick wrote: “So exciting!”

The Celebrity MasterChef finalist shared the gender of her second child two days after Christmas last year.

In the post, Amy shared a clip of a football being kicked which let out pink smoke to reveal she was expecting a baby girl.

The soap star was then seen jumping into the pool as she celebrated the news.

She captioned the post: “New addition to the family incoming!”

The couple went into business together last year as they announced they would be launching a drama school in a bid to inspire fresh talent.

Acting means a great deal to them both, with Amy playing Tracy Robinson on Emmerdale since 2014.

Meanwhile, Toby portrayed evil Gray Atkins on EastEnders for three years, before exiting the BBC soap in 2022.

Amy’s sisters are actors too.

Girls Aloud star, Kimberley Walsh, has acted in television, films and on stage in the theatre world, as well as their sister Sally, who is also an actress, most notably playing Lyn Hutchinson in Emmerdale.
