CORONATION Street and Emmerdale fans have been left out of pocket by thousands of pounds after stars of the soap pulled out of a fan event at the last minute.
Lisa Swain actress Vicky Myers and Vanessa Woodfield star Michelle Hardwick were due to attend FanFushionUK at Heathrow this weekend.

Fans had forked out upwards of £1,000 for tickets promising meet and greats with the stars, autographs and self sessions.
But last night the pair posted that they would be no longer attending – alleging “breach of contract”.
Vicky wrote on social media: “It is with deep regret that due to the organisers breach of contract, myself and Michelle Hardwick are unable to attend the FanFusion event this weekend.
“We are incredibly disappointed, as we were very much looking forward to meeting you all.

“Unfortunately, this is beyond our control. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the breach, we are now left with no other option but to withdraw.”
She added: “We would like to send our sincere apologies and our love and best wishes to our loyal fans.
“Please direct all refund enquiries to FanFusion. Vicky.”
However the event itself – Fanfusion UK – has now hit back in a statement, insisting that they found out that Vicky and Michelle were not attending when they posted online.
Their statement reads: “We regret to announce that Vicky Myers and Michelle Hardwick will no longer be attending FanFusionUK this weekend.
“Unfortunately this update was not directly communicated to us and we became aware of the situation at the same time as the fandom.
“We understand that this news may be disappointing and frustrating and we recognise that there may be speculation or rumours circulating.
“Despite this we remain committed to ensuring you have an enjoyable weekend and we are excited to still host the five fantastic guests who are in attendance.
“As we have only just received this information ourselves, we kindly ask for your patience while we take the necessary time to review the situation and determine the next steps.”
Bizarrely the event still had full size pictures of Vicky for fans to pose with at its venue.
Meanwhile fans have been left significantly out of pocket with some flying over from Australia and Canada to meet their soap idols.
Tickets for the event begin at £150 and go up to £1,000 for a full VIP ticket – and the event was totally sold out.
Selfies with the stars were also on sale with Michelle charging £35 or £40 per picture, and Vicky charging £45.
Michelle was also hosting an autograph session where she would sign one item for £35 up to a maximum of ten words.
The Emmerdale star was also doing two meet and greet sessions with tickets for those at £90.
