Emmerdale unveiled a bombshell twist in the storyline involving Rhona Goskirk, which has seen her at the centre of a love triangle. As she was torn by her love for husband Marlon Dingle and feelings for former flame Graham Foster, what happened in tonight’s episode?
Since Graham returned from the dead earlier this year, Rhona has been conflicted. Despite being in a loving and healthy relationship with Marlon, the weight of her history with Graham has been too much to ignore.
Tonight’s instalment of the ITV soap began with Graham asking Rhona to speak, though she told him to come back later. Graham soon got some grief from Chas Dingle, who was unhappy with the sale of Butler’s Farm to the Tates.
Graham headed back to Kim, who was talking with Lydia. The latter couldn’t help but notice the palpable tension between Kim and Graham, though Kim said that she wanted nothing to do with the “charlatan”.
Graham headed to Rhona’s house, though she ushered him away before Marlon returned. He said he would be waiting at the footbridge later in the day, but would take it as a sign to leave her be if she didn’t show.

She was a no-show, though that wasn’t Rhona’s initial plan. She was intending to meet Graham at the bridge, but was whisked away to another matter at the nursery after Ivy injured herself.
After she returned home with Ivy, Vanessa arrived and Rhona asked her to look after the youngster for the time being. She rushed to the footbridge, but a devastated and heartbroken Graham had already left.
He drowned his sorrows back home alongside Kim, who had a heated run-in with Chas at the Woolpack. The pair reignited some old passions, with Graham remarking that they were “two halves of the same soul”.
As Graham and Kim got intimate, Rhona unsuccessfully tried to call him. With Graham having slept with somebody else, has he blown his chance at another shot with Rhona? And will she persist in trying to contact him?
