Also, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is shaken to the core when Mal Roper (Tim Treloar) wakes up and he moves to ensure his secret remains buried, while Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) deal with a face from the past and a shattered Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) contemplates what his life looks like in the wake of Megan’s exposure.

Monday, March 16

Kit is forced to think on his feet when a witness comes forward who claims to have seen the attack on Mal. When they come face to face, it’s clear that the witness recognises him instantly.
It’s evident that Sam is in a bad way and, when approached by Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) and later Megan, he runs into the street and collapses, unconscious, forcing an ambulance to be called.
Elsewhere, Alya bristles as Adam celebrates poaching a client from Fabian’s, while George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is in despair over the state of his business and Todd’s heart breaks further when Theo takes the last of his things from the flat, encouraging Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) to tell them to sort themselves out.
Tuesday, March 17

Leanne tries desperately to convince Sam to tell her what’s behind his turn to drugs, though as he prepares to bare his soul, he freezes when Eva arrives.
In an attempt to lift his spirits, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) treats Todd to some lunch, though his the mood is wrecked when he spots Theo, clearly on a date.
Also, when Mal wakes up, Kit heads to the hospital to question him, while Alya swallows hard in the face of Adam’s excitement at his client acquisition.
Wednesday, March 18

Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) pushes Todd to move on and get himself back out there, and he tells Theo that he was right: they both deserve the opportunity to move on.
As Theo performatively flirts with Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), Todd tells him that Glenda’s set him up with a guy.
While it appears initially that peace is brokered between Alya, Adam and Rich Pemberton (Jamie Cho) at Barlow Legal services, somebody later hacks into their internal email service.
Meanwhile, time’s up for Megan, as Sam’s family gather around to protect him.
Thursday, March 19

Theo attempts to scupper Todd’s blind date by spending the evening with Gary Windass (Mikey North), while ensuring it looks as though he’s having the time of his life.
As Adam panics about the serious data breach, Alya and Adam are faced with a furious Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) who rages over a leaked email pertaining to Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney).
Meanwhile, Megan’s world continues to crumble as a face from her past returns to haunt her.
Friday, March 20

Theo tortures Todd further with the prospect of accepting a job in Belfast, feeling victorious in the face of Todd’s sadness.
When he later spies James Bailey (Jason Callender) giving Todd a pep talk ahead of the marathon, Theo slips something into Todd’s drink.
