Emmerdale Soap Scoop! Bear, Paddy and Dylan make confessions
Emmerdale has confirmed a major shake-up at Butler’s Farm as Moira is replaced by two characters in running the establishment. It comes after the events of tonight’s episode, which saw Moira sign over the farm to the Tates after agreeing a deal with Kim yesterday.
It has now been confirmed that Joe will hand the reins over to Robert Sudgen, who will run the farm alongside partner Aaron Dingle.

This will mean a Sudgen will oversee Butler’s for the first time in years, with Robert “determined to restore the farm to its former glory” and follow in the footsteps of dad Jack.
As such, he will reinstate the dug-up old farm sign and rename it Emmerdale Farm (also a nod to the soap’s original title), with both there and Dingle Farm now flourishing in the village.
Moira’s deal with Kim came behind the back of husband Cain, who is battling cancer, and after learning the news, Cain is determined to look for new land so that Moira can continue her farming career.

“The Sugdens have always been at the centre of our village, having been the original farming family when Emmerdale was first created,” producer Laura Shaw said.

“This return to the farm’s roots is a powerful moment, echoing the early drama that unfolded when Annie Sugden and her sons, Jack and Joe, farmed the land. Taking over the tenancy, grandson Robert wants to do his best and make his dad proud.
“With his loyal partner Aaron, they are ready for this new chapter and committed to making the farm thrive. Farming remains a vital presence in Emmerdale, providing a daily dose of excitement and fresh air for our audience.”
