EastEnders Soap Scoop! Two new characters arrive
EastEnders‘ Linda Carter and Max Branning will-they-wont-take storyline is set to take another turn next week, as she makes a shocking discovery about him.
Max recently learned that he is the father of Linda’s daughter Annie due to their affair years ago, which brought them closer. Max admitted he has strong feelings for her, and while she told him she she just wanted to be friends and co-parents, that may not be entirely true…
In scenes set to air next week, Linda gets ready to celebrate Mother’s Day in the Queen Vic with Elaine Peacock, partly to cheers herself up as Johnny is still being distant with her.
Unfortunately, she is forced to invite her shady schoolmate Bea Pollard. And to make things even worse, Max turns up after being evicted from number 45, and they share some crossed words.
Later on, he makes an attempt to apologise, and Linda invites him to spend the day with her and Annie. He’s elated, and gladly accepts.

She tells Max he’s a good dad, and he also proves to be an emotional support for her when Johnny coldly dismisses her in the Square.
Things look good between them, and when she hears from Elaine that Max is having a drink in The Vic, she heads over to join him.
But once she enters, she makes a shocking discovery. Just what exactly is it she sees, and how it will affect her on-off relationship with Max going forward?
