Sister Wives: Meri Brown’s Going Strong With Her Friend Jenn

Fans have seen Meri and Jenn’s friendship grow over the years. The two are known for their weekly segment on IG, “Fridays with Friends.” Jenn has also made numerous appearances in recent seasons.

She usually played the role of a person whom Meri could share her heartbreaks with. However, Jenn is getting a lot of sympathy from Sister Wives fans after sharing that her husband, Shawn, was diagnosed with a rare cancer.

Shawn has also appeared a couple of times in the show. One of them was when he helped Meri with her carriage house.

Jenn Reveals Husband’s Radiation & Major Surgery For Rare Cancer

Jenn recently took to IG to share the cancer treatment of her husband, Shawn. The Sister Wives star revealed that he has a rare type of cancer called Sarcoma.

According to Jenn, the treatment is taking a toll on Shawn’s strength, who had already undergone five radiation treatments since February.

Meri’s best friend also revealed that Shawn had two surgeries to remove tumors, including one that appeared outside the radiation area.

Jenn also said that Shawn is doing his best to regain his strength, adding that they’re already looking forward to getting back to their shop.

Jenn revealed that she’s sharing her husband’s story because July is Sarcoma Awareness Month. She’s also thankful for all the support they’re getting. Meri also commented on her post, saying, “Love you guys tons!! ”

Shawn’s cancer is called Sarcoma. According to studies, it is a rare type of malignant and cancerous tumor that develops in a patient’s bone and connective tissue.

There are numerous symptoms of Sarcoma, including a lump, swelling, or pain in multiple parts of the body.

There are also types of painless Sarcoma, though it can also cause difficulty in breathing and abdominal issues.

There are also treatments being offered against Sarcoma, such as surgery, radiation treatment, and chemotherapy. It’s also possible to get treated with targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
