NEXT week Coronation Street will delve into a shock incest plot forcing a long-hidden family secret to be exposed.
Steve McDonald’s daughter Amy has been growing closer with Ben Driscoll’s son Ollie in the ITV soap – but unbeknownst to either of them – they’re cousins.

The Sun exclusively revealed how Ben will soon be revealed as Steve’s secret brother after his dad Jim McDonald had an affair with his mum Maggie back in the 70s.

Brookside

In most soaps incest is taboo and a storyline that ends but not on Brookside.
When siblings Nat and Georgia were revealed to be sleeping together things quickly took a strange twist.
The viewer backlash was such that they were swiftly written out – leaving the Close to go and live as husband and wife somewhere no-one knew them.
The only relationship casualty was their own parents who split due to the stress of well the obvious.
