ron)Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) been suffering in silence for a long while EastEnders, but Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) is about discover just how unwell her boyfriend has become.
Ravi has lurched from one disaster to another. In his desperation to provide for his family, he resorted to old, criminal habits.
He established a drugs ring, cuckooing Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) and enslaving Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) before handing the keys to the Kingdom to his incredibly dangerous lieutenant, Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu).
The fallout saw Okie lose his life, Harry descend into all-out addiction and Ravi forced to work as an informant to avoid prison, placing his beloved family; Priya and their children, Avani (Aaliyah James) and Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) in serious danger.
When Harry and Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) took their revenge by spiking his drink with hallucinogenic drugs, Ravi beat Nugget so severely, it left him with epilepsy.

While Ravi has been desperate to confess to his son that he’s responsible for his condition, Priya has put her foot down, convinced it would do more harm than good. Their already strained relationship was tested even further when Ravi admitted to his informing work, and turning to self harm to try and ease the guilt from the utter carnage he’s created.
Ravi’s problems are further exacerbated by the re emergence of Mark Fowler Jr (Stephen Aaron-Sipple), who’s deep in the same criminal network he’s been informing on.
On a mission to keep his sister, Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) safe by discovering the informant, Mark has previously suspected Ravi, but next week sees it absolutely confirmed.
A confrontation at the boxing gym is only diffused by Zack Hudson (James Farrar), though it’s clear that Mark is holding Ravi’s feet firmly to the fire in his quest to locate and deal with the mole. Ravi attempts to call Mark’s bluff and it seems, for a while, that he’s in the clear…

…until Mark breaks into Ravi’s home on a desperate search for evidence to nail Ravi. Mark is confronted by Priya, though, who does all she can to prove her man’s innocence.
With Ravi suffocating under the weight of his endless troubles, he later ushers Mark into his car and drives them out of the Square, much to Priya’s abject horror.
With nowhere to turn, she calls on Vicki and Phil to help her locate them.

Meanwhile, away from the Square, a nihilistic Ravi confesses to being the informant, before goading Mark into a violent, bloody showdown.
While we won’t reveal the outcome, Ravi does return home to Priya, and she’s finally able to see just how poor his mental health has become and, while cleaning him up after the brawl, discovers his self harm scars.
