Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) was left very worried about partner Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) wellbeing in EastEnders as he broke down in her arms, admitting that he sees ‘no escape’ .
Ravi, who is operating as an informant for the police, has been struggling with his mental health after discovering that he unknowingly attacked son Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) while under the influence of drugs.
He was spiked by Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), who was acting on behalf of son Harry (Elijah Hollway), hellbent on revenge for what he did to the young mechanic last year.
The realisation that Nugget was hospitalised as a result of an attack he carried out left Ravi devastated and he began to self-harm.
Nugget’s subsequent diagnosis with epilepsy left him feeling all the more to blame and, after a particularly tough day – which saw him struggle to secure employment while Nugget had another fit – Ravi was not in a good place.
After going to the pharmacy to pick up his son’s medication as per Priya’s instructions, Ravi was devastated to learn that there had been an issue with dispensing the medication.
Refusing to return home to his partner empty-handed, he locked the door and ordered pharmacist Daniel to solve the issue, making it clear that no-one would be leaving until he got what he came for.

Nugget was horrified and pleaded with his dad to let everyone go, while Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona) – who had been picking up prescriptions of their own at the time of the incident – were similarly terrified.
With Daniel failing to locate the medication, a desperate Ravi began searching for himself, telling Nugget to give him a hand. But unable to find anything, the patriarch broke down in tears and said that he was ‘no good for anyone’.
Nugget assured his dad that he loves him and that he looks up to him while Denise discreetly texted Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), who notified Priya of the situation unfolding at the pharmacy.
As Nugget located the medication, Priya and Jack arrived at the premises, ordering Ravi to unlock the door.

Jack pulled some strings to avoid an arrest for Ravi to avoid sabotaging his secret informant work for the police. Nugget, meanwhile, was incredibly worried about his dad while Priya assured him that his dad will be okay.
But shortly afterwards, she came to realise just how much Ravi was struggling. ‘I feel like a fly trapped under a glass’, he said in emotional scenes. ‘There’s no escape. Whichever way I turn I keep hitting the sides.’
An agitated Ravi started to hit himself as a shocked Priya pleaded with him to stop, taking hold of him as he broke down in her arms. ‘There’s no escape!’ he said repeatedly as Priya offered support, realising just how much her partner isn’t coping.
Will she be able to help Ravi get the support he needs?
