Emmerdale Soap Scoop! Kerry and Jai’s secrecy continues
Emmerdale‘s Kerry Wyatt and Jai Sharma struggle to contain their lust next week, as their red-hot passion interferes with their work. Trying to maintain their boss-and-employee dynamic in public also quickly becomes a problem.
As the secret lovers struggle to contain the chemistry between them, can they manage to keep it under wraps?
“Kerry and Jai can’t get enough of each other,” our Emmerdale source explains.
“But in such a small village filled with gossips, their workplace bunk-ups are a challenge to keep on the down low. Can they find a way to keep their fun private?”

The newly-rekindled secret romance between Kerry and Jai is putting a spring in their step, but having crossed several professional boundaries behind closed doors, Jai battles to keep it cool out in public. The attraction is all too much…
Though before long it’s Kerry who has a bright idea and decides to mess with Jai. She’s secretly all over him in the office as they repeatedly give into temptation, yet in front of others, she mocks him mercilessly.
Hoping that no one notices they’ve become more than colleagues, Kerry’s public persona as Jai’s chief antagonist works like a charm to keep their hook-ups a secret. No one is going to suspect Jai’s biggest critic is actually his secret lover!
However, having to be the butt of Kerry’s jokes and sneak around behind everyone’s backs begins to wear thin for Jai. Will his growing feelings for Kerry force them to go public? Or will they get caught in the act?
Plus, is the fling itself a dangerous game to play, given that Kerry is supposed to be keeping up appearances with her husband Eric Pollard?
Kerry tied the knot with Eric just before Christmas, but confided in Sarah Sugden and Jacob Gallagher about how it was a financial scam to protect Eric’s savings.
Speaking after the wedding twist aired, Laura Norton – who plays Kerry – told us: “That period of filming was the most fun I’ve had in ages, because obviously last year we did all of the limo stuff and I had to say goodbye to a few of the girls in the show that I loved. It was really bittersweet. Obviously it was an amazing piece of television, but this recent stuff was just great to get back to ‘old school Kerry’.
“Now Kerry is partnered with Eric and it’s like a duo that you shouldn’t put together, but for some reason it just works. They are in a situation that is so ridiculous, it’s all so incredibly funny. So I’ve loved it for several different reasons.”
